The Wheels to Work scheme offers you the chance to hire an electric bike at £45 per month for six months. If you are a Leicester resident, have secured a placement in work, education or training and are over the age of 16, you could be eligible to hire an e-bike.

Our bikes are located at the city council’s Town Hall Bike Park.

 

To be eligible to hire an e-bike, you must:

  • Be over the age of 16
  • Be able to confidently ride a bike
  • Live within the Leicester City region, or travel mostly within Leicester City if you live in Leicestershire
  • Provide proof of enrolment in employment, education or training
  • Have official documentation to confirm your identity
